Life
Born Phila. PA, JUly 5, 1937. Moved to West Wildwood 1944
Graduated Wildwood High School June 1955
Went to work for Allied Sign Company in Wildwood as a helper.
1956, went to work for ACE sign Company. Met Dorothy
McDonough, from Glenside, PA on May 5, 1957, at Wildwood and
Pacific AVenues. We were married on September 27, 1958. Have three children, KIm, Randy and Rob. Five grandchildren, Ryan, age 13, Mark, 11, Kimmie, 8, Tyler, 8
and Austin 6.
Elected Mayor of WEst Wildwood, November 1963, started my
own sign comany February 1964. (sold it to my son Randy in
1995) (I was a police officer in West Wildwood 1959-1963)
Ran for Cape May County Freeholder in primary election 1971,
lost by 48 votes. Elected Cape May County Surrogate,...Expand for more

top vote getter on the entire ticket. I am still the Surrogate. It is a five year term, and my terms ends 12/31/07. As Surrogate, I am the Judge of the Surrogate Court, with the responsibility to probate wills, appoint
guardians for minors and administrators of estate. Also,
I am the Deputy Clerk of the Superior Court in all adoption matters. All adoption pleadings are filed with me, and I
set a date for hearings and appear in Superior Court and
swear in witnesses who will testify.
Dottie and I will celebrate 46th wedding anniversary this
coming September 27,2004.
We moved from West Wildwood to 913 Hand Avenue, Cape May
